Published: A Guilty Mind

Well, it’s done. Although A Guilty Mind has technically been available for several days (a few snags with the linking, etc. kept it under wraps), today is officially my personally designated publication day! Hooray!

So here is the announcement:

A GUILTY MIND is available for sale on Amazon (of course), your handy IPad, Smashwords, Barnes & Noble (currently in paperback, Nook coming soon), and other popular e-sites.

Whew. It many ways, it feels like a weight has been lifted. Lots of writing, lots of editing, lots of formatting, lots of everything…. Maybe I didn’t complete the self-publishing process in the easiest of ways. I could have simply published an e-book with Amazon. Certainly this would have decreased my workload but I’m glad I didn’t. This is what works for me. Even if it’s fair to say Amazon is the king of book sales (especially when it comes to e-books), my own children buy books on the IPad. And don’t we need my book in as many forms as possible? Kidding – but since the really hard part, the dreaded marketing, is next on the agenda, maybe I’m not kidding after all. Either way, today is “publication” day – a day to celebrate!

I really want to send a huge THANK YOU to all of you who have written me and supported me through the self-publishing process. Your kind comments and all the blogs have been so helpful. I feel lucky to be included in a great community of writers. In the next few weeks, I plan to share some of the challenges and hiccups in my process so I can maybe save another writer a few steps.
