The All-Important Press Release

I don’t really know that the press release is all-important but I do think it’s a good thing. After all, what is the downside of doing one? Even if only a few people see it, that’s more than would hear about your book without one. All it costs you is a little time.

There are many templates out there but one of the easiest and FREE ways to create and distribute a press release is to use PRLog.com. It’s fairly easy and you can link it and e-mail it to other parties.

If you’re planning to publish soon or just did, add a press release to your marketing plan. Then tweak it and use to send one to your local newspaper, alumni magazine, work newspaper, club paper, or any other document where you can spread the news. Now that’s all-important!
